Calling all gamers! Are you ready to test your skills against other local competition here in San Diego? Look no further. SD eSports League is now open for team and free agent registrations for a number of games.
Each league entry will entitle your 5/6 member team (plus up to 2 alternates) to membership in our 8 week league with a guaranteed 8 scheduled matches. In order to accommodate player scheduling, we will have open flexible match scheduling meaning, once your matchup is assigned, we will work with both team captains to schedule the day and time the two teams will play at our Pacific Beach location. We require at least 3 team members from each team to play from our store location to keep our community aspect but please feel free to bring in your own systems, controllers/mice/keyboards/headsets in as we have a dedicated fiber internet line for competitive play(Your league buy in pays for any warmup and matchup time; warmups are standard 1 hour but call ahead to check if we have availability for a longer warm up period).

Team Registrations - $100 per player, $50 per alternate - You need at least a full main team to register a team. If you do not have enough alternates, we will provide one for you from the free agent pool. This ensures your team will be able to play one matchup per week
Solo/Free Agents/Free Agent Groups - $100 entry fee / person. Free agents and free agent groups will be put together to form full teams as well as fill in any alternate roles for team registrants
Alternates - All alternates will be charged a $50 entry fee since your playtime is not guaranteed. If you are a free agent alternate and do not get the opportunity to play in any games in a season, we will roll over your status to the next league (You can sign up as part of a full team or get placed as a starter the next league, you will simply cover the difference in alternate and starter entry fee i.e $50)
Note - Alternates serve two functions. 1. In combination with our flexible scheduling format, alternates will allow greater success in scheduling weekly matchups when life gets in the way 2. Providing a way for free agent players to participate as interest grows in our league programs
-
- All weekly games will be scheduled between league organizers and team captains to provide better flexibility with work/school schedules.
- At least 3 team members must be present on site for league matches every week
- For playoffs, (quarter, semi and finals) we will hold these on predetermined weekend dates. Playoff seeding will depend on total teams registered but will at minimum include the top 6 teams registered in a heads up format
-
- Prizes will be a combination of cash and physical prizes - Each prize set will be announced during the league registration period
- Unless otherwise notated, prizes will be distributed per the following: 1st Place - 60%, 2nd Place - 30%, 3rd Place - 10%
